Last night, after deciding to learn some Italian, I made an entire Italian food themed dinner for Adam and I.
For the first time ever, I decided to take it upon myself to spend in the hour and make my own garlic bread.
Ingredients:
A loaf of Ciabatta bread
1 stick of softened butter
1 clove of garlic, smashed & minced
A handful of parsley, chopped into tiny pieces
1 cup of parmesan cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Cut the bread in half horizontally. Mince and chop up the garlic and parsley. Mix well with butter in a bowl and spread it evenly all over the bread. Bake for 10 minutes on a LOW rack in the oven. Remove the bread from the oven, cover with parmesan cheese, and move the loaf to the highest rack in the oven (to melt the cheese).
*Be careful not to burn the bread.
Or, for those of you who are more visual (like yours truly), here are some pictures of what I did!
This looks ridiculously good! Thank for this simple, easy recipe!
