Easy, grilled prosciutto wrapped asparagus!
What You'll Need:
A bunch of asparagus
1/4 lb of prosciutto
1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil
Clean the asparagus and trim them down. The thinner stalks of asparagus are a much better pick for this dish. Wrap the prosciutto tightly around the spears, and turn your skillet up to medium-heat and toss in your veggie oil. When I was cooking these guys, it reminded me of grilling hot dogs. You will want to continue to turn them, so they are grilled in an evenly distributed way. After they are grilled and crispy, throw down some paper towels onto a plate and soak the excessive oil.
Note: they are served better hot/warm.
They do not taste great at room temperature.
