Lately, we've been working on building up our winter and Christmas decor around the apartment! I've been on the lookout at Dollar Tree, Michael's, AC Moore, etc for miscellaneous items to use. Recently, I found a $1 glass bowl that reminded me of the ones my mom had around the house growing up. Once I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do and how I could achieve the look I envisioned.
Using a hot glue gun, I trimmed the lace and attached it to the rim of the bowl. I love anything shabby chic, and I knew this lace was just *perfect*! It look all of 5 MINUTES to do this! So fast & easy!
This is such a cute idea!

It looks fantastic. I like these little touches at christmas. It would look gorgeous with pot pourri in it the rest of the year :)
ReplyDeleteFunny, I had wondered what I should put in it for the rest of the year! I appreciate the suggestion, Alicia! ;D
