    • Ingredients

      • 2 Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breasts
      • 1 cup of breading
      • 1 egg
      • 1 teaspoon of pepper
      • 1 cup of shredded cheese
      • 1 jar of pasta sauce
    • Instructions

      1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
      2. 2. Wash thawed chicken and dry on a paper towel.
      3. 3. In a bowl, beat 1 egg. Grab a plate and lay out 1 cup of breading to dip your chicken in.
      4. 4. Roll your chicken around in the egg to prepare it, and then roll it in the breading and cover in entirely.
      5. 5. Bake the chicken on a baking tray for 45 minutes or until fully cooked.
      6. 6. Fill a small casserole dish with pasta sauce half way.
      7. 7. Place the baked chicken into the pasta sauce, and pour remaining pasta sauce on top.
      8. 8. Sprinkle your shredded cheese all over the top of the chicken.
      9. 9. Bake on low (200 degrees) for 30-35 minutes.
      10. 10. Broil your chicken on high for 2-3 minutes, or until you reach desired cheese melt/browning.

Pro Tip: for a real treat, serve it with a classic pasta like fettuccine!
