DIY Snack Bites Holder and Zesty Dipping Queso Recipe

This past week, my mom has been visiting with us and we've been having such a blast! We've spent time as a family around town and heading into the city, and we've pretty much been on-the-go since she's gotten here. Before we've headed out of the house this week, we've been filling my DIY snack bites holders with some HOT POCKETS® Breakfast Bites at the start of our day (and even came back home for some HOT POCKETS® Snack Bites in the afternoon, too). We've really enjoyed these snacks, and how we've even spiced our bites up with some zesty queso dip!

Our snack bites holder resembles something you'd see for a fast food french fry holder--and it works great for carrying HOT POCKETS® Breakfast Bites and Snack Bites. Today, I wanted to share how to make a DIY snack bite holder of your own!

So first what you'll need is some cardboard (or even heavy duty scrapbook paper will work). Print our PDF (found lower down the page) onto the paper you desire to use, and cut out the shape as seen above.

Click here to get our snack bites holder PDF cutout--so you can easily make your own at home!

Then, you will want to fold along the lines to form the shape of your snack holder. Using just a small amount of glue attach the front to the back on the side slits (as show folded and facing upwards in the picture above).

This zesty, queso dip goes well with breakfast and snacks, too!

To make our zesty queso dip, you will need:

Zesty Queso Dip
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cup of shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup of diced Monterey jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup of whole milk
  • a handful of crushed red pepper
  • a pinch of black pepper
Directions:

1. Pour your cheeses and milk into a small saucepan and place onto the stovetop on low heat.
2. Continue to stir your ingredients generously.
3. Until you reach your desired texture, continue to stir on low heat with a nonstick spatula.
4. Add in your crushed red pepper and black better and mix it into your queso.
5. Serve hot as a dip, or drizzle over your HOT POCKETS® Breakfast Bites and Snack Bites.

The HOT POCKETS® Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Bites and HOT POCKETS® Pepperoni Pizza Snack Bites go incredibly well with our zesty little queso dip! We are huge fans of cheesy and spicy flavors, and love how well it compliments any and every snack we eat that day.

When we know we have a busy week, we head down to Walmart to buy some HOT POCKETS® Breakfast Bites and Snack Bites.

If you know that you and your family are going to want some tasty snacks like we enjoyed, you can grab a $1 off coupon from April 1 - April 30. Click here for the coupon for the all new, HOT POCKETS® Breakfast Bites and Snack Bites at Walmart.
