Since it's officially November, I am ready to fully embrace the holiday season! One of my favorite holiday flavors to enjoy is red velvet--if you let me, I would eat red velvet all day every day. Seriously, I can't get enough! But I didn't want to have to wait until after breakfast to enjoy my favorite treat, so I took it upon myself to find a way to incorporate my favorite sweet into a pancake recipe! Today, I'm sharing my recipe for Red Velvet Pancakes with Cream Cheese Butter and Cinnamon Sugar!

Convenient and easy-to-make recipes are crucial during the holiday season! Using just a few ingredients, including Aunt Jemima Mix and Syrup, I can enjoy red velvety goodness for breakfast!

Combine Aunt Jemima Original Mix and baker's sugar together. Sift well. Crack an egg into the mix and continue to stir. Pour in the milk and continue to blend.

Add in oil, vanilla extract, and food coloring and blend until fully mixed.

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle to medium heat.  Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the pan and brown on both sides. Repeat.

Serve pancakes hot and topped with cream cheese butter, cinnamon sugar, and Aunt Jemima Original Syrup.

As you start to plan your holiday get-togethers with your friends and family, think about what recipe traditions you have (or what recipes you can make as a whole family so you can start a new tradition!) Some of my fondest memories with my family from when I was little were around the holidays, and more often than not, our family would end up baking together! Our Red Velvet Pancakes with Cream Cheese Butter and Cinnamon Sugar recipe is delicious and fun for the whole family to enjoy!

Adam and I are planning on making these red velvet pancakes from now through Christmas, so I'll be headed back to Walmart a few times to pick up some more Aunt Jemima Original Mix and Aunt Jemima Original Syrup.
