Last week, Adam and I had a day date walking around Downtown Phoenix (and oh man it was so hot outside!) We took the light rail from our neighborhood all the way into the heart of downtown and it was scorching hot outside--if you've never experienced the Summer heat in Phoenix, just image turning your oven up to 350 degrees and then opening the oven and standing next to the open oven for a solid 1-2 minutes. That's what it feels like walking around in the desert in three digit temperatures!
Needless to say, we got really thirsty walking around in the 108 (F) degree weather, and we were so happy when we finally stopped at our local Hard Rock Cafe. The air conditioning felt amazing, and we instantly starting on our first and second cups of ice water when we sat down at our table.
Adam and I love burgers, so when the Hard Rock Cafe contacted us and invited us to experience a taste of the 2016 Hard Rock World Burger Tour we happily accepted! Today, we're sharing our experience from our recent date night at Hard Rock Cafe!
Our day date was an absolute success! We left with so many leftovers--as soon as we ordered the Jumbo Combo, I knew we would be leaving with doggy bags filled with food!
After we enjoyed some of our Jumbo Combo appetizer bites, we ordered our first burger off of the World Burger Tour menu! I got the first pick and I wanted to try the Aloha Burger--packed with grilled pineapple, pico de gallo, guacamole, Monterey jack cheese, arugula, and a sweet soy glaze.
Adam's choice off of the World Burger Tour menu was the ATOMIC! Burger--loaded with pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, garlic chipotle ketchup, chipotle mayonnaise and topped with two beer-battered peppers! OH MY YUM! This was our favorite burger we tried because we love spicy food!
Be sure to look out for a World Burger Tour menu at your local Hard Rock Cafe between now and June 30, 2016. All of the different locations have different burgers featured on the menu--you can check out your local cafe to find out the details about which burgers they have for the special menu!

The only hard rock cafe in been to is the one in Palm Springs. They recently opened it.

My mom and I went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Vegas as well--that has been my favorite one I have visited so far!

ReplyDeleteVegas is fun! You should definitely check out the PHX location--it is right next to the light rail downtown, so it is really easy to get to!

DeleteI have only been to one Hard Rock Café and it was in New York. But it was at a sad time as 9-11 had happened the day before. I wish my visit had happened during a better time.
