Football season is here and we are oh so happy about it!

Adam and I really enjoy watching football together, and we were both raised by families who love football. Ever since I can remember, watching the game together has always been a tradition for us, and I really like finding ways to make watching the game together extra special. Today, I'm sharing a handful of really easy-to-make, football-themed mason jar ideas that anyone can make before a pee wee or high school football game, tailgating or "homegating" get-together, or even a larger football party.

Supplies Needed:

For these fun, football-themed mason jar ideas you will need the following items: an assortment of spray paints (I used white, black, brown, blue, red, light green, and dark green), white acrylic paint, assorted sizes of painter's tape, scissors, mason jars, a small paintbrush, and SNICKERS® to fill the inside of the finished mason jars.

#1 Football Mason Jar

Perfect for any football game get-together, everyone will enjoy these mason jars decorated as footballs!

Begin by spray painting the entire mason jar in a white paint and then allow it to dry completely. Once the white paint has dried, cut and arrange painter's tape in the shape of football stitching (i.e. one long vertical piece, and multiple horizontal and even-sized shorter pieces).

#2 Referee Jersey Mason Jar

"The ruling on the field stands...everyone loves a fun mason jar decoration!" Surprise your football fans with these referee jersey-inspired mason jars.

Begin by spray painting the entire mason jar in white paint and then allow it to dry completely. Once the white paint has dried, cut and arrange painter's tape vertically all around the mason jar. Spray paint the tape-covered mason jar with black paint, allow it to dry, and then remove the tape. That's it!

#3 Football Field Mason Jar

These football field mason jars are a great way to bring some football game spirit to any table setting!

Begin by spray painting the entire mason jar in light green paint and then allow it to dry completely. Then, once the paint has dried, cut and arrange painter's tape and lay it across the mason jar horizontally. Spray paint the mason jar in dark green paint and then allow it to dry completely. Remove the tape and you are all done--you've got yourself a football-field inspired mason jar!

#4 Game Play Mason Jar

Put out a few of these game plan mason jars at your football get-together for your guests!

Begin by spray painting the entire mason jar in black paint and then allow it to dry completely. Once the black paint has dried, use a small paint brush and white acrylic paint to draw out "x" and "o" and some arrows all over the jar--if you search online for something along the lines of "chalkboard football game play," you may find some examples if you don't want to make yours the exact same way as mine. Allow the paint to dry completely and then fill it with some SNICKERS® when you're done!

#5 Mason Jar Candy Centerpiece

Fill up some mason jars with SNICKERS® and decorate the jars in your favorite colors! Alternatively, you can also prepare a candy jar for every one of your guests if you are hosting people over for the game, and give them out as party favors at the end of the football game.

Begin by placing a large piece of painter's tape around the center of the mason jar. Then, spray paint the top third of the mason jar with one color (I started with blue), and then allow it to dry completely. Then, without removing the tape, spray paint the bottom third with a different color. Once it dries, remove the tape and then fill the mason jar with football-themed SNICKERS®!

I can't get enough of the special, football-themed SNICKERS® packaging! These SNICKERS® bars are a really fun way to bring in an added detail when you're planning for your next game day.
