Baked Brie with Apple

Warm, decadent brie right out of the oven and topped with agave nectar and glazed apples!

Winter entertaining doesn't stop at Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Just because the holidays are over does not mean you cannot enjoy decadent, winter treats every now and then. Prepare this gooey, warm appetizer and impress your guests (even your in-laws) with your secretly not-so-difficult-after-all baked brie recipe that is simply easy. So whether you're having a Sunday brunch with the family, or you're having a wine bar night at home with some friends or co-workers you can prepare this treat that everyone will remember!

Baked brie is all the rage right now, but many people forget that it's a timeless classic. Don't feel intimated by it--if you can operate an oven, you can make this! This baked brie recipe is perhaps the easiest, fastest appetizer that can double even as a dessert!

Apple Baked Brie

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 cup of apple pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons of blue agave nectar
  • 1 dozen Italian waffle cookies or your desired cracker/cookie (optional)
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (F).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and place the brie on top.
  3. Drizzle the brie with blue agave nectar (you can also use honey).
  4. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees (F) for 8-10 minutes, or until the brie has softened and has started to ooze.
  5. Scoop about 1 cup of glazed apples on top of the brie, and serve with waffle cookies (or your desired cracker/cookie). Enjoy!
