Spring Fun at the Mulberry Lane Farm

This post is sponsored by Kleenex but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Last week, we did a press trip out in Wisconsin and visited the Fox Cities (otherwise known as Greater Appleton) for the first time. We ate a lot of delicious Wisconsin local food, and we had a great time exploring the area and seeing all that there is to do and enjoy while visiting that part of WI!

Among all of the fun activities we did on our trip out to the Fox Cities, perhaps one of my favorites was the day we spent at Mulberry Lane Farm. We weren't going to let bad weather stop us from enjoying ourselves, so we packed some ponchos, boots, and some Kleenex Wet Wipes, and we headed out on the road just a short drive from our hotel in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Mulberry Lane Farm is a wonderful family activity when you are visiting the Fox Cities area. We took advantage of their petting zoo opportunities they offer, and I got to spend some time saying hello to all of the friendly animals around the farm (and even had my first experience milking a cow!)

Although the weather was not optimal for a farm visit and having a hayride around the farm, we made sure to enjoy ourselves as much as we could! The rain may have been falling from the sky, but all of the animals were happy to see us and we got to spend some time cuddling with them, petting them, and even milking one of them--I got to cross off 'milk a cow' from my travel bucket list on this trip! After we took the time to soak up all of the cuteness from the fun farm animals, I made sure to whip out my Kleenex Wet Wipes and passed them around to everyone on our trip so we could all clean up after handling the animals.

After we stopped by to say hi to all of the adorable animals along the way, we took a tour with the owner of their farm and learned some of Mulberry Lane farmhouse's history. We even got to see a bridal party begin setting up an event for one of the shabby chic, barn-themed weddings that Mulberry Lane Farm hosts each year. Such a beautiful setting for a country inspired wedding--as a former wedding photographer, I could totally see why so many brides (and wedding professionals) get so excited to work with Mulberry Lane Farm and their gorgeous countryside property.

Our trip to Mulberry Lane Farm was most definitly one of the highlights from our trip out to the Fox Cities in Wisconsin! We had a great time traveling around the Fox Cities area taking in all of the local sights and the food, and anytime we felt like we needed to freshen up on the go, I reached into my tote bag and pulled out my Kleenex Wet Wipes

  14. All of those animals remind me of growing up on a farm. Those were the best days of my life. I always keep wipes with me now, but my mom didn't and I'm sure we were some germy kids back then, lol.
