Our Mini Linky Party | Week 226

Good morning!

May is here, and summer is on its way to the desert. Over the next two weeks, the city of Phoenix will empty out once all of the Arizona State University students return home for the summer and all of the snowbirds who visit here during the winter months will return back to their homes. We are so thrilled that warmer weather means fewer people in our city because that also means there aren't any long lines to get coffee or go shopping and that staycation season is finally upon us!

This weekend, Adam and I are taking some time to relax and unwind after a busy week for both of us. We were both feeling under the weather at times throughout this last week, so I am hoping with the weekend we will completely feel healthy again (and I am hopeful that allergy season is going to begin calming down since the pollen count has been insanely high for us this year). Apart from relaxing, we do have a few things we need to get done this weekend and I have some projects I am finishing up that I will soon be sharing to the blog--so stay tuned!

Check out the features from this week:

DIY Retro Gingham Pillow from Flamingo Toes

Lemon Poppy Seed Scones from Cookie Dough and Oven Mitt

Easy DIY 2-Seam Skirt Pattern from The Style Safari

Strawberries and Cream Cakes Trifle with Vanilla Vodka from Busy Being Jennifer
