Our Mini Linky Party | Week 279

It's strange to think that it's Memorial Day weekend, isn't it?

It seems since mid-March, I have lost a complete sense of time since having to self-quarantine. The state of Arizona has lifted its lockdown, but we are continuing to remain home unless absolutely need to go out.

As we near the end of the month and begin to start to think about June, it's wild how we have had 6 different trips canceled since this all started. We had so many plans for spring, both for personal reasons and also for the blog, but with the virus everything came to a hault. My hope is that summer will bring with it something that starts to resemble some normalcy, and if all goes well, we should be able to resume travel as early as July. In the meantime, we will be spending the long weekend at home.

Do you have any plans for this weekend? How is your family adjusting to holidays during this time?

  1. It has been challenging indeed to seem to skip spring since we were shut in from late winter onward and Ohio is gradually opening, but nothing is "normal" and it often seems a distant hope that it might be something more like what we have known at some undefined time out there. We are just at home this weekend as well.
