Boy, is it hot outside!!

We've got some crazy hot and humid weather happening in Phoenix right now. Don't ever let anyone convince you Phoenix summers are a 'dry heat' because, during monsoon season, it is just about as humid as anywhere else and super hot out. It's probably my least favorite time of year to live here, but the benefit to monsoon season is the excess amount of rain we get which we really need! If you haven't heard the news, Lake Mead is experiencing a devastatingly low water level and that's one of our major sources of water living in Arizona (as well as Nevada and parts of California). So as much as I don't like this weather, I happily welcome any and all rain showers we get because we could really use the rain! 

We'll try just about anything to stay cool. But I'm thinking it's a float-in-the-middle-of-the-pool-in-the-shade-until-it's-time-for-an-ice-cream-cone kind of Saturday!
