I love anything and everything bruschetta, ya'll! I have had some super intricate and genius bruschetta recipes that I would have never imaged before, and I am so glad I found those other recipes when I want to whip up an amazing appetizer or small bite to eat. But sometimes, a gal just wants a simple snack!
And sometimes I even want some bruschetta in the morning! That's why I wanted to share my very own spin on one of my favorite snacks and share my Breakfast Bruschetta idea with you all!
Some mornings I just don't have the energy to scramble or cook eggs, sausage, peppers, or anything else really that you can think of for a tasty breakfast. One morning, I had an idea: why not use my leftover bruschetta bread from the night before with my breakfast? And I did--and it was SO good! Huzzah!
My Breakfast Bruschetta recipe is simple and straightforward!
Ingredients:
- 1 baguette
- Regular Cream Cheese
- Strawberry Jam
Directions:
- Cut (or pre-cut and store) a baguette into 1/2 inch deep slices.
- Layer a thin layer of cream cheese on top of your bread.
- Smear 1-2 tablespoons of strawberry jam on top.
- Eat and enjoy!
What kind of jams do you prefer with your breakfast?
