Last week, I had the pleasure of getting together with the ladies of AZ Bloggers Meet Up group at Kneaders in Scottsdale! We met to network with new friends, catch with up old friends, talk about photo styling, eat some delicious Italian food, and take a behind-the-scenes tour of Kneaders.
Tausha blogs over at Taush.O. I love her blog a lot! I think if Adam and I had kids that I'd have a similar blog to Tausha, and I'd fill my site with not just food and DIY but also family adventures from all around Arizona. Check out her latest post from her family's trip to Lake Pleasant here!
This fabulous lady is Stephanie--another blogger friend of mine! She is the photographer and genius behind Life Created photography. Seriously, if you love light, airy, and feminine styled photography you need to follow her on Instagram right now! Right before we had some yummy food from Kneaders, Stephanie talked to us about food photography styling. There were lots of great tips she had to share with us, and if you live in Arizona and want to improve your photography I highly recommend one of her photography workshops (see more info about her workshops here).
Okay, okay. So here's what brought you all here--the food! And oh man the food at Kneaders Scottsdale was great! I loaded up on fruit and a delightful turkey sandwich, and then I had some dessert. I will admit, I did not try that fruit cup but everyone said it was delicious! However, I did have the cannoli. I mean, c'mon. Who can resist an Italian cannoli?! One can only have so much willpower.
Like all AZ Bloggers meet ups, I did not leave empty handed!
Seriously, the ladies who throw these events together and partner with businesses like Kneaders totally spoil us! When I came home that night, Adam's eyes went wide when he saw this loaf of blueberry bread. We both indulged on some this past weekend for breakfast, and it was so fresh and so sweet! And to top it all off, when Adam first opened it up something fell out from the bottom of the packaging--guess what it was? A gift card! Yes, on top of already hosting us in their Scottsdale location, feeding us, and giving us a tour they gave us a gift card, too!! Thank you so so much to Kneaders Scottsdale for such a wonderful event! I can't wait to go back and take Adam to try that cannoli (seriously, he had dessert envy!) And thank you to the bloggers who put this event together--Camille and Chrissy!
Do you have a Kneaders near you?
Great post! Loved the event, too - Kneaders was so generous and their food was absolutely fabulous! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Patricia! And I completely agree--Kneaders just completely spoiled us and treated us like VIPs! But I have a feeling that's just how great they are to everyone who goes there, too!
DeleteThanks so much!! Love your post
ReplyDeleteYou are more than welcome lady! ;-)
DeleteWow! Those desserts look amazing! I would love to have a huge plateful of them!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?!
DeleteAw this looked so fun and I love how you don't take yourself seriously!http://www.fadedspring.co.uk
ReplyDeleteHa thanks! I never take myself too seriously--I am just a huge goofball.
DeleteThis sounds like such a great event! I only had one conversation about food styling and I enjoyed it immensely. I know that there are google groups and probably facebook groups for Food bloggers, but I always enjoy real face-to-face interactions so much more than any of the online conversations.
ReplyDeleteOh most definitely there are a lot of online forums to connect, but I agree--the face-to-face interactions are way better!
DeleteFun! I wish I could have attended some when I was an AZ blogger, but now I am a Philly blogger! :) Looks like it was a great time.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a blast! Are there any Philly meet-up groups you've found since you moved there?
DeleteI'm just so glad you came! I hope there's more happy days ahead and hope there's more time to talk to you at the next one!
ReplyDeleteThanks hun xo
DeleteLove your post! I was so excited about the gift card, too! And the tart was delicious!! Loved meeting you Cathy!
ReplyDeleteIt was SO great to meet YOU! And I am glad I have another Twitter buddy ;-)
DeleteWhat a fun get-together! I wish there were things like this in Idaho! (I guess there could be, but if there are I don't know about them!)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! The short time I was living in Boston, it did not seem like there were any blogger groups close to me that I could find. I would recommend looking online and also by searching on Facebook! That is how someone found me and added me to the Arizona blogger group. Good luck!
DeleteI love this post and it was quite well timed because I was just talking with another local blogger about planning something similar by us!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun!! Camille and Chrissy always do a fabulous job planning ours, and I think some of our more successful events have been through a vendor (like Kneaders). Do you have any ideas for what you're thinking of doing yet?
DeleteWe didn't get to chat, but the next meet-up we will definitely need to!
ReplyDeleteI know :( And I was wanting to thank you in person for organizing Blogging Tribe, too!
DeleteAww... looks like you guys had a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI would love to meet up with other bloggers in my area.
So glad you had that chance :)
Thank you, Heather! Yes I love meeting with local bloggers. It's great because I can 100% be myself and know that no one will judge me for Instagramming (is it a verb? lol) my meal ;-)
DeleteThis looks like a great time! I got to briefly meet Stephanie and Tausha and the Elevate conference last year. I wish there was a blogger meetup in my area!
ReplyDeleteAren't these awesome ladies?! I am glad you got to meet them at Elevate, and I've been thinking about going to that conference myself. Have you looked on Facebook for a group for bloggers in your area? Our group is all online via Facebook!
DeleteThis looks like it was really fun! I need to find a blogger meetup in my area.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can find one near you, too!
DeleteThis sounds like a great event! Definitely need to find something like this in my area!
ReplyDeleteYeah for sure! Good luck with the search :-)
DeleteThis looks like a great event! Wish we had one this great nearby!
ReplyDeleteIt was such a blast! I am so glad I went to the event, and I hope that all my blogger friends can go to a local event like this one day!
