Happy Saturday!
Despite having an awful week, I made it out alive and well and hopeful that everything will work out.
For those of you who read my posts earlier this week, you would know that I have had a rough week. After some moments of reflection and more comfort food than I'd like to admit eating (i.e. lots of carbs and ice cream happened this week), I woke up this morning with a really positive outlook. One of my best friends gave me some wonderful advice that I've really taken to heart--she reminded me that some years are going to be exponentially more difficult than others, and it would seem that so far 2016 has proven itself to be one of the difficult years. I'm just trying to take everything one obstacle at a time and remind myself that things can only get better.
Today, I'll be sitting poolside and catching up on work until this afternoon and then I'm having some friends over for mimosas and board games. It should be really fun! What are your plans for the weekend? I hope you had a great week and I'm excited to see what projects you worked on and shared on your blog this week at our linky party!
