Game day is not complete without this creamy, jalapeño ranch dip to complement all of your favorite game day snacks! Thanks to our friends at Foster Farms for sponsoring this post.
Now that professional football season has officially come to an end (after an amazing season, if I do say so myself...ps, I love you Tom Brady), Adam and I have been trying to find ways to incorporate some of our favorite game day traditions during our normal off-season when it comes to sports.
Lately, we've been getting into watching the college basketball tournaments since we heard the championship game is held just on the outside of town over in Glendale, AZ! I never really enjoyed college basketball when I was studying at Arizona State University, but now that I'm out of school and I don't feel like I'm cheating on my school while I root for other college teams, I am able to enjoy watching the championship games with Adam (who also went to a school that didn't do so well when it comes to collegiate basketball).
No matter which championship game we're watching, Adam and I always enjoy whipping up something tasty to eat for game day! This week, I made this delicious jalapeño bacon ranch dip to compliment all of our Foster Farms game day snacks including hot and spicy chicken wings and corn dogs!
Creamy Jalapeño Bacon Ranch Dip
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of creamy ranch dressing
- 2 jalapeño peppers, sliced with seeds removed
- 2 tablespoons of cilantro
- 4 large slices of bacon, cooked
Directions:
- Fill a small bullet or blender with jalapeño pepper slices and blend until jalapeño is softened and resembles a creamy texture.
- Fill the same bullet with bacon, followed by ranch dressing, followed by cilantro. Blend well on high speed.
- Once the mixture is completely smooth and blended entirely, remove from small blender or bullet and pour into a small bowl to serve alongside appetizers.
- Either serve the dip immediately, or store covered in the refrigerator for up to 60 minutes.
This jalapeño bacon ranch dip is the perfect accessory for all of your game day favorites! Adam and I enjoyed some Foster Farms corns dogs and Foster Farms Hot & Spicy Wings this past week with our dip and it was so delicious!
