With the start of a new month, we can all move forward from summer and make whatever changes are necessary to get us even closer to our goals! For me, that means less time sitting in the air conditioning and more time getting outside and exercising. I am not going to lie--working out regularly has been a struggle this summer, and it has been hard to find the motivation to get out and exercise with the oppression of the humidity and the heat. But I have begun a steady routine and hope to keep at it, so I can get back in the swing of things and working out regularly again.
Adam and I had a really nice week! We were able to spend some time enjoying one last summer staycation in Phoenix before his required overtime starts to ramp up at work. For now, it would seem that we are both trying to settle into our new (and rather busy) routines! This weekend, I will be playing catch up on some work I need to get done between now and early next week, as well as watching a little bit of Dexter on Netflix--I am rewatching the series, and as much as I want to sit and binge-watch the whole show, I have a lot to do this weekend. But I will be rewarding myself every day with an episode or two to help break up our busy, working weekend!
