Our Mini Linky Party | Week 167

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

After a pretty emotional week, Adam and I are finally in a better place.

I can't go into details about it because it's my own personal story to tell, but this week we were challenged with some pretty heavy stuff. I mean, real 'adulting' at its worst! But, we're staying positive and hoping for the best!

We shared earlier this week on Instagram how we had a happy hour date at-home, and we got to enjoy a delicious charcuterie board that was so easy to throw together but it would have probably cost us a pretty penny if we went out to a restaurant and ordered one just like it. Our date night was very much needed and a nice break from all of the challenges we faced this week. We enjoyed some amazing deli meats and cheeses, which as of late, make up a lot of our diet!

We are slowly reducing the amount of bread and pasta we eat in our diet, and adapting ourselves more into a keto-centric diet. Adam has done a lot of research on ketosis, how it works, and the benefits he will get from a ketogenic diet and after a lot of deliberation, research, and conversations we agreed it was time to make some changes to our diet as we approach our thirties (he's already there, but I still have 9 more months until I hit the big 3-0!) This weekend, we're going on a few more date nights and then really buckling down and getting back to business this upcoming week (be sure to watch our Instagram stories this weekend to see all the fun we have planned for our weekend date nights coming up!)

Check out the features from this week:

Easy 5-Minute Front Door Umbrella Wreath from Celebrating Everyday Life

Asparagus Tart with Honey Lemon Sauce from Giggles Galore

DIY Peter Cottontail Girls Knee Socks for Easter from Dazzle while Frazzled
