How is everyone doing today? I hope you all had a nice week.
I was fortunate enough to be in good spirits this week and got quite a bit accomplished. It's crazy how something can change your entire attitude. I finally got my stimulus check (Adam still has not gotten his check), and when my check came in, I felt instant relief and I immediately got started on a number of things I had put on hold. When I'm stressed or anxious, it's nearly impossible for me to focus on a task properly. Getting that extra wiggle room in our finances this week definitely brought me some relief, and I'm glad I was able to turn this week around and was productive.
This entire self-quarantine, which started back in March, has taken a toll on my mental health. Admittedly, I have not been my best self while social distancing and have been finding it difficult to get inspired to work. But in the moments that I can focus and I am working on something, I feel significantly better. We are all handling this differently, and some better than others, and I am just thankful that this week was a good week for me.

First, thank you for featuring my framed flower vase. Secondly, I definitely think the self-quarantine has definitely affected people's mental status. The market is volatile and the fear associated with the virus is constantly on display on the news. We all deal with it differently, and there's nothing wrong with that. Although, I have found chocolate really calms the nerves, LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't sought out chocolate yet, but there's been plenty of soda and chips and salsa lol! And thank you for joining our link party! This link party is just one of the things that has remained a normal aspect of life during all of this craziness. I'm thankful to have bloggers like you who join it every week so I have a reason to write a blog post even if I'm out of it or kinda sad from the virus and having to stay home. I appreciate you! <3
