I am going into this weekend with a better mindset than most weekends this year.
I feel good about what I accomplished this week, and I feel like for once after many weeks of feeling like a stranger to myself I finally feel like myself again. This lockdown changed a lot--even though I was already working from home, it changed a lot about how I operate and I've seen how much I relied on having my freedom of being able to leave the house. Since March, my life has felt out of my control. And being that I'm a bit of a control freak, it's left me with more anxiety than I've known how to deal with in over a decade.
But this week, I had a good week. And I feel good. So I'm holding onto this positivity as long as I can.
