How has your week been? I for one had a suuuuper hectic week!
With my new position, I helped orchestrate our very first Giving Tuesday which was a great learning experience and had an awesome outcome. Not only did we meet our fundraising goal, but we exceeded it by over 4X! So, while I had a crazy busy week, it was also extremely productive and very rewarding.
So no complaints here! I just need a little bit of time to try to relax and recuperate so I have enough energy next week to get through a bulk of the work that needs to be done for our end of the year campaigning before the holidays sneak up on us.
Check out the features from this week:
Peppermint Fudge Recipe from Cook Clean then Repeat
DIY Faux Snow Christmas Ornaments from Eccentricities by JVG
Nutter Butter Truffles from Butter with a Side of Bread
DIY Christmas Sign (using supplies from a dollar store) from A Labour of Life

DeleteCathy, SUPER excited to hear about your Giving Tuesday results! We're in Seattle and had a really good response too - NOT 4X mind you, but so thankful that people are giving in spite of all the challenges that we are facing. Happy weekend!! Best, Jen
ReplyDeleteJen, thank you so much!!! That means a lot! I was anxious leading up to Giving Tuesday since I wanted to make a good impression since I am new to my organization, and I am just elated that it went as well as it did. I am glad you had good response, too. You are right--people definitely are still in the giving mood and in a place to help others which is wonderful to see. This year has been challenging in so many ways, but this past week was very rewarding and a little bit of sunshine in an otherwise cloudy year. I appreciate your comment and I am always so happy to see your posts at our link party! Thank you!
DeleteThis is what I featured the week of 11-30 to 12-4-2020 on my blog. On Tuesday was Christmas Spirit Sugar Cookies. Wednesday saw Christmas Almond Balls. Thursday was Cherpumple Cake. And winding up Christmas specials was Turkey Ham and Cheese Strata. Enjoy!
